The car is MIGHTY clean for it's age/miles. The only rust issues I found were the exhaust (easily replaceable) and a spot on the driver side door that the paint is bubbling about the size of a penny. There is a crack on the plastic molding on the bumper (easily replaceable). There is an inch long crack on the dash. The left rear CV boot is seeping as is the rear diff gasket (easy fixes). The carpet is stained in some parts, and some window switches stick in certain positions sometimes. The liner on the inside of the hood need to be replaced. But it is a relatively clean car. Those were the only major issues I could spot. Except for one last thing: We did the jack test and the VC is shot in transfer case. I would like to replace the transfer case and not just the VC, because I want it to be of the road for as little time as possible. I would like to have 4wd before snow hits the ground (if it does, really). How much would you pay for it, Oppo?

It does look clean, but that's a lot of miles on an AT.

Inspired by my post ? Just kidding. Looks like a fantastic car. To be honest I don't know what these are worth at all. I would start low though, and list what you think is wrong. Me? I would start at $3000-$3500, but again, i don't know what these are worth at all.

Even though it has an AT, I would drive that all day long. If you like it, and the price goes along with other clean E30s I6 ix cars, I say to buy it. No way you can go wrong with such a nice looking, well kept E30.
BTW, if you're in the DC area, send me an email at nickdezarn@hotmail.com (if you want) in case you want to know the meet details or help plan them.

I paid $4,400 for an 89 ix, red four door exactly like this one (mines a 5 speed),,, only there were no issues what so ever (did replace the liner inside hood) Then threw in some recaro is seats. That was about 5 years ago,,,, so I'd say she's right on the money. This has been my favorite car to drive, over the 89 is and my 99 audi a4. Pick up some steelies and throw some traction tires on for winter and you'll have a blast!
